Dr. Michael Vlahos

Vlahos is part of the National Security Assessment team of the National Security Analysis 

Department (NSAD) at the Johns Hopkins University 

Author of "Fighting Identity Sacred War and World Change" which presents a new perspective on what Post 911 event World is like.  The book presents 4 themes which are woven together:

1.  Vlahos looks at the nature of War itself. It is a sacred ritual which shares some of same aspects as

religion.

2.  Today thousands of communities are struggling to realize themselves in a path realized in War.

3.  Today the superpower is having trouble quelling the uprisings.

4.  As with Ancient Rome, US struggles against these rising identities are helping accelerate world

transformation.
