Dr. Jane Orient 

Dr. Orient is a Professor at the Oregon Institute of Science & Medicine.  Dr. Orient is a physician educated at Columbia University. She is Executive Director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. She and AAPS are widely credited for their effective work toward preventing socialized medicine in the United States.  She serves as medical advisor for the Institute's projects involving human health and disease. She is author of numerous books,  including "Sapira's Art and Science of Bedside Diagnosis", a widely used primary physician's diagnostic reference work. Dr. Orient is President of Doctors for Disaster Preparedness and of Physicians for Civil Defense.Discusses today's American medical care and medical system including evidence-based medicine.  Evidence-based medicine has become "dobsat" medicine where good ole' boys & girls sit at the table to decide what is to be done.  And the physician-patient relationship is the loser.  Corruption is built into the system wherein pressure if created for increased payment or money as opposed to improved health.
