We were on the cusp of seeing President Obama's top agenda item passed. Now it's a guess as to what will happen. Nancy Pelosi will not try to pass the Senate Bill. Senator Obama recognized that people don't have health insurance because they can't afford it. Now the President supports a mandate. This change is based on the economics involved by including those with pre-existing conditions and preventing people from just opting into the plan on the day they become sick. Massachusetts state run health care plan has a problem with people dropping in and out.
